Scope of Work:

Decommissioning and Removal of Existing Pressure Basin and Installation of Two (2) – 4 Million Gallon Water Storage Tanks

Project Description:

The principal features of the work performed for this Project include the installation of two 4MG pre-stressed concrete water storage tanks and demolition of existing the existing pressure basin. Construction includes, but is not limited to piping, exterior structures, yard utilities, site work, instrumentation, electrical, and HVAC systems, and rehabilitation of the existing gate house structure.

The tanks required earthwork to accommodate the footprint of each tank, installation of concrete foundation, internal piping, transmission mains, stormwater conveyance and management, rehabilitation of the exterior and interior of the gate house structure, the associated instrumentation and electrical systems for the security and monitoring systems connecting to the Orchard Street Pump Station approximately 0.8 miles away from the site, and the demolition of the existing pressure.
