Overview:

We’re looking for a Project Engineer who wants hands-on experience, real responsibility, and a clear path for growth. This role is ideal for someone who wants to be in the field, learn how projects are actually built, and develop into a Project Manager.
We specialize in site development, roadwork, bridges, utilities, and heavy highway construction across both public and private sectors. Our team is involved from the ground up, delivering high-quality work safely, on schedule, and within budget.

What You'll do:

• Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, and change orders

• Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation

• Assist with scheduling, including weekly and monthly updates

• Support estimating efforts and quantity takeoffs

• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors

• Order and track jobsite materials

• Review and interpret plans and specifications

• Work closely with Superintendents and Project Managers in the field

• Attend jobsite meetings and assist with reporting

• Take on increasing responsibility as you grow

 

Who You Are:​

Early Career (0–2 years):

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

• Internship or field experience is a plus'

• Eager to learn and build a long-term career in construction

Experienced (3+ years):

• Experience on heavy civil, DOT, or bridge projects

• Strong understanding of construction workflows and documentation

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications

• Clear communication and a team-first mindset

• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Project or Primavera is a plus)

• Familiarity with HCSS (HeavyBid) and Viewpoint is a plus
