Project Description:
The project consisted of the revitalization of the dilapidated 50 year old Sprain Ridge Pool Bath House and existing pools which were neglected for more than half a decade. The scope of work within the interior and exterior of the building quickly grew as many areas of the building were discovered to be either rotted or destroyed by insects over the years. The building roof was in dire condition and dictated that the entire roof was to be replaced with many of the areas of the roof were rotted. Throughout the duration of the project many aspects of the construction were evolving and changing as both New York State Department of Health and Westchester County Department of Health changed many aspects of the swimming pools in order to comply with the very stringent health code requirements. ELQ coordinated and managed every aspect of the project in a way that enabled them to effectively and efficiently complete the project within the contract schedule despite the continued evolution in the scope of the project.
